Believe To Achieve Your Dreams

All people in the world have its own dream. A dream that we want to be in the future. For dream is an ambition or desire for power and wealth that makes a person successful in life and in order to achieve its goals for herself and her loved ones.

For me, my dream is to become a successful nurse or business woman someday somehow because I know it will lead me in to a better future. With the help of God's grace I know I can do it 'cause He help us through thick or thin. Especially in times of trouble, and also with the help of my family, I believe, that I can really achieve this dreams of mine. Of course, I must also have a positive outlook in life, and I must first study hard for the betterment of my future.

For believing in yourself is achieving your dreams and if you dream and believe you will survive in the challenges of achieving your own dreams.

"CHANGE: IT STARTS WITH ME."

Philippines is a beautiful country that suffered through many challenges and problems that became our history. Thirteen presidents had already passed. GMA is the 14th yet, Philippines is still not FULLY progressing. I'm not saying that this presidents didn't do their duty well because as we all know each of them contributed a LOT to our country, Philippines in order to be more progressive.

But for me, I believe that great thing comes from small beginnings. As a student, I will be a good role model to the society or nation. By means of obeying the rules and regulations, first at our own barangay and then to the country. Also by studying hard and obeying to the policies of the government. We can also make our country a better nation by participating to the different programs or organizations of the barangays and to our country that can improve our country, the Philippines.

This small deeds of mine can help our country and make it a better nation because, "Change starts with us."

"New Experiences...New Lessons"

We all know that high school life is full of challenges, just like what I have encountered. During the first and second grading period I have encountered some challenges or problems and also I learned a lot. And when the third grading period came the same thing happened, I learned a lot and encountered same challenges in my high school life.

Actually, I learned about the HTML images, its tag and the source attribute, hyperlinks, multimedia, the HTML links and also the part of MS front page, because of this, my knowledge became wider, especially on the Internet. In terms of problems or challenges this 3rd grading period, as I said awhile ago I encountered some challenges regarding to some of my quizzes in some subjects. But in T.L.E I think I did not encountered so mush problems.

This problems were just but normal or ordinary in our daily life in order to help us to become braver and stronger to the other problems waiting for us in the future. Proving on, I addressed this problems by having a positive outlook in life and having patience, because "Patience is a Virtue."

CHRISTMAS IN OUR HEARTS

Starting this day, December 10, 2009 there are only 15 days to go before Christmas. And Christmas is the season of joy, sharing and giving for in this time we are celebrating the birth of our saviour , Jesus Christ.

But love is the true essence of Christmas. It is because love is what we give to the people we love or even hate. It is also like giving gift but actually not a material thing it's an emotion. Love also keep us from hate. And it's better to give our love this season for it's the special day of Jesus. The other essence of Christmas is forgiving. Forgiving the people that commit mistake to us. Also this season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus.

So, let Jesus be the one to guide us, as another New Year starts and may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts.

THE FILIPINO-VALUES MONTH

Last month, November was the celebration of the Filipino-Values Club with a theme, "Pagpapatibay ng Pagkataong Pilipino Tugon sa Hamon ng Panahon."

During this celebration there was a lot of contests held in our school. Like the sayawit contest, poster making contest, kite flying contest, cook or food fest and many more contests. And even though we didn't join this contests, we enjoyed watching some of this contests. By the way, the theme means that we Filipinos must strengthen our life whether it is physical, emotional, mental, social or spiritual aspect. In order to be ready to the problems that may come to us. And because if we have all of this we can face our problems braver, stronger and with courage. And having this all can make our life better today, tomorrow and in the future.

So, we Filipinos must develop and strengthen our whole life for the betterment of our country, the Philippines, and for the betterment of each and everyone's life.

NEW EXPERIENCES!!

In this second grading period, I have learned a lot like in the first grading period. I learned all about the HTML. Like what is the meaning of HTML, its basic tags, on how to use the notepad. That's why I discovered that I have many more things to learn in order to gain more knowledge that can be use in my future and daily life.

Challenge is a problem that stimulates effort, just like problem we cannot skip from this. Because this are part of our life. In the school, I also encountered problems. For example when our computer does not function well, my groupmates and I can't do the activities that we must do.

Patience is a virtue. I used my patience in order to addressed my problems. It is because patience is very important in school, home, work and others. And if you don't have patience maybe you might hurt the feeling of others or will not finished or do your work well.

Helping me to gain knowledge
Helping me to be a good person
And helps me also in my future.

Just like my loving mother
Who keeps me feel better
In times of trouble and sorrow.

Caring, kind, loving, responsible
And many more
That's a hero, oh teacher is my hero.

ADAPTING TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT

We all know that science is a branch of knowledge or study dealing with a body of facts systematically arranged and showing the operations of general laws, or it is also the systematic knowledge of the physical or material world gained through observation and experimentation. That's why we used science culture for our development.

Science culture is very important because it helps us in our daily life, it makes our work easier and faster, today and in the near future. Especially the technologies that we used this time, like the computer. We used it in surfing or searching important things and makes the communication faster by chatting. And so with the cellphone, that helps us to communicate faster by means of texting and other technologies also. That's why science culture is important and we must adjust to it. In order, that we can achieve the progress, development or improvement we like or want. But of course we must first improve ourselves to help improve the world or society.

So, let's go and adjust to the different Science Culture, for today and the improvement of the world's future.

FILIPINO LANGUAGE: THE KEY TO OUR NATIONAL IDENTITY

Filipino Language is very important in our life. In our country, the Philippines, the Filipino language is the most used language. That's why we consider it as our national identity.

In other countries like America and Korea, I think they also consider their language or dialect as their national identity. Why? Because I think, language is very useful all over the world. Here in our country, although there are so many Filipinoes who are fluent in speaking English, I still believe that most of us used Filipino language because as I said it is the "Key To Our National Identity". And we used in communicating to our co-Filipinoes that have other dialects, like visaya or others.

That's why we must love our own, our own products, our country and The Filipino Language.

High School Life: Learning From the Challenges

Learning is gaining of knowledge or the acquired of knowledge or skil through study. In the first quarter of the school year 2009-2010, I have learned so many on my experiences. Specially in the T.L.E. subject, we studied and learned about the "History of Internet" and all about Internet, where did start, who made it, who discovered it and also its uses. I also learned to be more responsible in doing my assignment.

Problems and challenges that passed in our life are normal and we cannot skip from it. In the school, even if we are simple students, we or I also encountered challenges in our school life. Challenges in all subject areas. Quizzes, projects, activities, responsibilities tese are the challenges of being a student. Like me, I always give all my hundred percent effort in order to address with this challenges.

Praying, studying hard, having a possitive mind and attitude, and being a responsible student, this are the ways that I always used to be able to address to the challenges in my school life.

Moving on, this experiences will help me to be more stronger in the near future. And will also help me to face the challenges that Jesus give to me, because as they say, experience is the best teacher.

"ENGLISH OR FILIPINO: LANGUAGES THAT WE MUST USE"

English or Filipino, what should we use? English is our Universal Language, it is used all over the world while Filipino is the most language used in our country, the Philippines.

Both languages are useful, that's why for the campaign "Speak To Me In English or Filipino Properly with Kindness" that was held last month, July 8, 2009. I think this is a good form or way in order to communicate with the people around us and to gain some confidence. Specially in English, as I said a while ago it is our Universal Language. So if we start speaking English in our school, we will learn and be fluent in speaking and talking to others, using the said language. And if we learn using it,we can use this language when we will go to other countries, who always used and can only understand this language (English). And for the Filipino language, I also believe that we must also used it because,we can also used it in communicating to people who don't really understand other languages, specially here in our country we have so many dialects or languages that we used in our daily life. Like the Iloco or Visayan dialects. And we must also admit that not all students in our school can communicate or speak English fluently so they used to talk using the Filipino or Iloco languages or dialects.

And lastly, language is very important to all of us, therefore whatever languages we used it is alright. As soon as we can understand it. And can communicate, speak, and talk with each other.

"THE NUTRITION MONTH: WARM AND EXCITING ACTIVITIES"

Lately, in our school, there were so many activities that were done. Like the mural painting contest. In this contest, the students that have the ability to draw or paint participated. After this contest, there was also a nutri quiz and an oratorical contest that was done. And in this activities, the students from the first year to fourth year could attend or participate if they have also the said abilities. Then the next activity was the cook fest, like the other activities, this was also participated by all the students who love to cook, coming from all-year-levels. Then the next activity was the food fest and it was held last week, July 13 to 17, 2009. The first to have their food fest were the first year students, followed by the second year students, then thi third year students, and lastly the fourth year students. All the year levels had their food or products to be sold. For us, in our section we sold pineapple shake, arozcaldo and some lumpia. In the last day of the food fest, all year levels must sell their products, but unfortunately it rain hard, so the other classes did not sell their prodeucts. After the food fest, there is also a nutri jingle contest for all sectio or students who wants to participate.

These were the activities that were done and soon to be done. For celebrating the nutrition month with the theme, "Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan."
